I'm not sure if you're talking about Emory Johns Creek Hospital or the specialist I went to check my feet and podiatry. My podiatry experience was totally different. It wasn't positive however, in the hospital at Johns Creek everything was very good.

Dr. Jo is simply outstanding. She has a wonderful chair side manner and is genuinely concerned about her patients. She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in her field. Dr. Jo exhibits a deep concern for her patients and provides wonderful care. She takes her time with the patient and answers all questions thoroughly. Both my wife and I drive all the way from Dawsonville to see Dr. Jo as she is the best we have ever experienced.

Dr. Jo seemed under time stress

I have recommended Dr Jo so many times. It is obvious others find her as stellar as I do as her waiting room is now full. She is extremely effective addressing issues that other Emory Eye physicians I see have not taken the time to address. I have had to go to her on numerous occasions to help me distill the information provided to me from other Emory Providers and to define a care plan that I understand and can follow. I trust her implicitly and hope that Emory does a lot to let her know how much she is appreciated. If she left Emory I would cry.

Dr. Jo's very thorough exam found my retinal tear in the periphery of my retina. She acted decisively to refer me quickly to a retinal specialist (Dr. Jain) whom I saw that afternoon at I received potentially sight-saving therapy (photocoagulation) that afternoon. The very competent and professional way this was handled effectively 'extended' the reach of the Emory eye clinic. When I originally called to schedule an appointment with an an opthamologist (fearing a retinal problem with increased floaters) I could not be seen until June--but was able to see by Dr. Jo within two days.

Dr. Jo is perfect. Also looking at every aspect of my care. Professional, caring and knowledgeable. Feel safe with her.

I loved my experiences except the front desk receptionist. She never smiled. Looked aggravated when we asked questions She told my husband to check the portal for paperwork etc. My husband said he wasn't registered for the portal. She put her head in computer and never offered any assistance
